We are the Sutton Family.
Meegan is the creator of the wonderful homeschooling resources that you find here at Border Wanderer Kids. Aaron writes our homesteading content and draws from his outdoor experiences. Our daughter Ru is our inspiration for all that we do. Grandma Sutton helps us along the way and meets our many sewing requests. Our animal family includes, Max the Dog, who emigrated from the USA. River Rabbit and Kohana Rabbit who have their own stories to tell (Coming Soon!).
Our family started on an adventure in 2016, when Meegan came to Thailand from South Africa and Aaron came to Thailand from the USA. We met while teaching in Bangkok and decided to explore the Kingdom of Thailand together. We married in Australia in 2018 and had our little Ru on the tropical island of Koh Samui. We will be in Phuket to start our new adventure of homesteading by the end of 2020.
Meegan custom makes all the resources, tests them and uses them; if you have any requests, send them to her so that she can custom make them. Border Wanderer Kids resources include printables, crafts, practical life skills, advice on homeschooling and so much more!
Aaron has practical experience with the outdoors having lived, hunted and fished in Alaska for almost 20 years. He has a love for science and nature with a will to learn and exchange knowledge with others. Homesteading full time will be a part of this new adventure, so keep updated as we work through it together.
We love learning and growing, getting messy and exploring, helping others and sharing skills, and most of all, being part of a loving, family orientated community. Our motto applies to both young and old, "Messy hands mean we are learning!" Get your hands in there, keep an open mind and a heart for exciting adventures.
